My eyes kinda look like those now. XD Yesteday I freaking CRIED bc my internet didn't work again!!! I was so fucking frustrated. I have this connection via stick. It worked just fine for a week before it collapsed. I brought it to a center for that shit - they couldn't fix it and sent me somewhere else. The lady there said I had to bring the stick back to Koprivnica so they can send it somewhere from there to be fixed. Did that and got a replacement for the time they need fixing mine. The replacement worked until yesterday evening and then it broke again! I was so pissed and dad too bc he's kinda paying for something that isn't working. Wanted to go the center again today but first checked if it maybe worked - and it did and still does. But I'm pessimistic and I think it's gonna break again in the evening. Why isn't anything working properly in my life? I think I at least deserve to have a proper internet connection.

About university - I always drive about 15 minutes by tram. I'm finally using my mp3 player in the tram. XD People's faces when you play Wicked Game on the player - priceless. ROFL I mean, only I can really hear it but Gas's drums are coming out really well, I think and it pisses people off early in the morning. :D Currently, I'm listening to the new Pearl Jam album which is really poppy - I didn't really like the old stuff anyway (it was so guyish). This is more girly and it relaxes me. Plus, the lyrics are pretty inspirational (see post title).
I also applied for this Big Sibling project - they find an older student who studies the same things as you and can therefore give you important tips and help you finding your way around, both literally and metaphorically speaking. And last week I got an e-mail bc they found a girl. Haven't met her yet but we talked via e-mail and she's really nice and really trying to help me. I'm really pleased with the situation at the moment. Haven't gotten too much homework yet (yes, jinx it, Helena). I've also read Fahrenheit 451 for the English literature subject already and I feel I'm kinda ahead with that. Turns out I found my way around easier than other people which makes me feel good about myself.
And living with my best friend has been great so far - the only annoying thing is her Facebook obsession. XD But she already got her own PINK Dell lap top and she's gonna get the same internet thingie that I have (hope it will work for her at least XD). My new nickname is CIMI. LOL She wrote on my laptop (Vista has this thing on the right of the screen where you can write notes): "Helena is the best Cimi in the world". .) Cimi comes from cimerica which means roommate. I think it's really cute. :D
Hmmm..what else to say. I found one little HIM fan (she's also studying German), planning to meet Apandemos some time soon, have to meet my Big Sister too - and I'm hanging out with some guys in English classes. There are some nice and funny ones (and some annoying and ugly and disgusting ones). This one guy (he's not studying the same thing as I) - he's like an angel, dammit. XD He was attending the same preparation class before university - I was also in that group but never really talked to him bc he seemed boring. But later we talked a bit and his smile just melts you. XD We're not really friends and I rarely see him - when I do, he's usually surrounded by people. But when he walks past me, he says HI and smiles again. OMFG. XD Ok, I'm a jerk - but the guy is freakin' Legolas so don't blame me.

On other news, Rammstein are coming to Zagreb!!!!!!!!! Next year, I think. But the tickets are so expensive! I've never heard of so expensive tickets - the cheapest is about 42 €. WTF?

The 69 Eyes, Paradise Lost AND Mando Diao are also coming here soon. I hope I'll get to see some of them live - gotta persuade my new friends. :D Wish me luck with that. XD

Okay, enough for today. I'm so tired and I look like hell - gotta eat something and do some homework for English. And I hope someone read this but even if not, it felt good letting out some steam and shit - I feel a bit better. :)

ULTIMATE HIGH VOLTAGE FEELING! :D

So many people cried today. But I couldn't. We are still gonna see each other at the prom in a few weeks. But this feeling is so weird. Real life starts now. I can't wait but I'm also very afraid.
You're probably wondering why I'm not out there partying. :D But I have been out there the whole damn week and I'm tired and I feel sick...and today there's a really shitty band playing, so I decided not to go. And I still have Saturday and Sunday to make up for it. :D

We have this tradition to dress as something or someone at the end of the last school year. And my class dressed as brides. XD ROFL But I've been said I look darn cute in that dress, so it's not a big deal. :D This week was fun but I've had enough, I think. Just two more days to survive and I'll be sleeping the next week.

P.S. Last weekend I've been at a place at the seaside where the National German competition took place. And I WON!!!!! I'm the best in the whole country! Now I get 20 points at my university exam and I don't have to take the German exam. It's too complicated to explain. ^^ I got a fancy CASIO camera as a present. I'm really happy about that bc I had only an old big one and never used it. So they picked the right gift for me. And I'm probably getting some money from the mayor. And people are saying that I'm also getting a laptop! I hope so. :)

I came back home on Monday. At school we were dressed as brides already. They all hugged me and kissed me and congratulated me when I arrived...and they were singing "Helena is the first" (best possible translation^^)...all of those 37 people I find so annoying actually were proud of me. That was really sweet. :D I couldn't have wished for a better last week of school.

I think I have lots more things to talk about...but I'm too tired for them now. I'll talk to my sweeties on MSN about that. :) I apologize for being away for so long. But now you see why.

Summer is officially over in Croatia. Yesterday, there was a huge thunderstorm...I'm usually not scared of that stuff...not the heavy rain...not of the lightning...but of the fucking wind. XD It was whizzing like some kind of tornado...and we never have those here...but this was some heavy shit. Thank Ville, nothing happened to me...or my house. I was running around closing all the doors and windows bc it came so suddenly. Later, we discovered strange parts of dust in the hallway...the wind must have been blowing soooo strong that it pulled "dust-clouds" out of the narrow spaces between the wardrobes (and they are actually inside the walls...don't know how to explain it...you can't move them...they are attached to the walls). Seems my house is not as clean as I thought. :D ^^
And there was this rock festival here...and the whole stage broke down!! Nothing happened to anyone...but it kind of "caved in" lol ....just like that!! Mother nature is pissed. :D

Just yesterday, it was 30 °C in the shadow...and now I'm sitting here in my long-sleeved shirt + wearing socks, too....and I'm still freezing. And I'm not feeling to well...and all of that stuff inspired my to make a new header. :) I "bloody" love it. XD Opinions, anyone? I made one without the blood, too....in case it gets on my nerves later. ^^

Now, I need some help...I'm graduating in 2009 and we have to write some kind of report for the subject of our choice. I couldn't decide between English and German, since I'm going to study both. I decided to choose German. I knew I wanted to write about music...about my essential inspiration...about all the bands that make my life a hell lot better. Of course about American, British, "Suomiish" bands...and then the teacher told me I have to write about German bands...arrgh. I'll ask my English teacher what she thinks...and what she would be expecting from a report and then I'll make my final decision. My English teacher is cooler....as a person.
I'm confused..don't know what to doooo. :( I want to write about Nirvana, and the Foos. and HIM and so on (but maybe I couldn't write about HIM...Finland is not England ^^)....but I already see this picture of Kurt holding Frances on the first page!! Of them yawning! So cute and funny! XD
Oh and...maybe my Twinnie could mention some German bands I could work with...in case I'll be writing the German report? *puppy eyes* :) And there's the problem that I don't want to write about Tokio Hotel...but it is a part of the German music culture...and essential one (God/Ville help me) *throws up*. ^^
